Parka

I’ve worn this parka for two full winters, and overall it’s been a decent coat. It’s long and provides great coverage, which I really appreciate on cold days. The hood is excellent in blowing snow, and I like that the fur trim is removable depending on the weather or your preference.
That said, it does have some downsides. When temperatures drop to around -25°C, I notice that my arms get quite cold, so it doesn’t hold up as well in extreme cold as I’d hoped. The pocket material has also started to pill and wear down after two seasons, which is disappointing in terms of durability.
It’s been a good coat for moderate winter weather, but because of the arm insulation and wear issues, I’ll be looking to purchase a new one next year, from a different brand :(

Great Parka for Extreme Cold

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Given our historical freezing temperatures and 14" snow I am thrilled that I had this parka! I feed horses twice/day so I was able to manage the weather as I did my chores.

Not warm enough

I regret not returning this when I had the chance. It's not as warm as was hoping for. There are also too many pockets! I keep losing things in the pockets. I ended up getting a longer coat down coat from patagonia that I'm much happier with. If you live in the upper midwest (MN, Wisconsin, or the Dakotas) this coat will not be warm enough for you.

Great coat!

This is a really great coat! I love the look of the smooth exterior (as opposed to a to a traditional puffer). It feels nicely lightweight to wear, but so far has withstood some very cold temperatures in the Northeast. As some others noted, the pockets are slightly awkwardly placed, but I don't find them to be unusable. My one complaint would be that I don't love the little "comfort cuff" on the sleeve, because it makes the coat harder to take off when I come inside and just want to shed layers quickly.

Disappointment

I bought this coat last week and wore it yesterday in -8c feels like -14c with windchill. I was so cold, even with a thick sweater underneath. I had high hopes for this coat but you can feel the wind through it. Not worth the money.

Runs big

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the website's find my size feature. Based on the measurements I provided (height, weight, bra size) I was supposed to be XXL. When I finally got it in the mail, it was too big. The sleeves are way too long. The jacket looks super bulky. I think this is something you need to try on when in the store.
Other than that, the jack is super warm and nicely made. Just wish the website find my size feature was more accurate
