Q: This isn't exactly a question, so much as a response to Access Associate (I wish there was a way to reply to someone's reply to your question): I was asking if the UNDERSIDE of the brim is UPF, not the top of the brim and the crown. Just to clarify.

A: Hi, The fabric on the underside/interior of the brim is most likely not UPF 50, just the fabric on the exterior of the hat.

Q: Is the underside of the brim of this hat UPF? Meaning the grey part that you would see if you were wearing the hat and rolled your eyes or looked up to the underside of the brim? I prefer to wear this kind of cap when kayaking, instead of a wide-brim hat.

A: Hi, The fabric on the top of the brim and the crown is UPF 50 so the entire cap would be rated UPF 50. This hat is great for sun protection.
