Bought it for the winter months to wear around the house. Heavy, but very warm. I already feel this one's built to last years of hard wear. Tough cotton. Plenty of room to move around because of the pleats in the upper back area. A couple things could be better though. There could be a warm lining in the main pockets to keep hands warm, and the velcro at the cuffs could be much stronger. The cuffs come undone way too easily. All in all, no regrets, and still 5 stars!

In March 2008 my husband took a job located on Baffin Island. We went to Mark’s to buy the essentials, first & foremost outerwear.
He bought this exact coat. Now 14 years later it is still functional, just looks worse for wear, so I bought him the identical successor except it’s one size bigger ;) and in the new optional colour of sage-green.
You WILL GET YOUR $$$ worth from this coat!! Made for work and made to last!!
PS: it’s predecessor is still much loved and useful, hanging in the garage for those dirty cold day jobs at home :)
