It seems that my size is no longer available at the stores. I'm thinking because people are generally getting taller, so there is less demand. I take a size 34 x 28 and the shortest size on the shelf seems to be 29 or 30. Ordering it online was the only way I could get my size

Q: Are these high waisted for old guys? All the jeans my husband tries on are young men's fit. So low rise. He doesn't want to be a plumber!

A: These jeans have the highest rise offered in our Denver Hayes assortment. The jeans will sit just "at the waist" versus "below the waist", which is higher than our regular straight and slim fit styles. You may also be interested in our Classic Fit jeans (styles 4AMCDHAS1002 and 4AMCDHAS21002) which also have a high rise, but with a straight leg.
