Not A Good Fit But The Boots Are Great Quality

These boots looked great online so I ordered 2 different sizes, I got an 8 and an 8.5 just in case they were made a bit small. The length is definitely great for an 8 so no issues there. The 8.5 is much too long for my feet so they are true to size in length with the size 8 which is my usual size in footwear.. The boots are definitely well made and the soles are a good solid bottom and feel like they would hold up well in icy or snowy weather which was very important for me since I am dealing with pain from a fall 4 years ago that is with me daily. Unfortunately they are just too narrow and tight around the middle of my foot and my feet are not big or wide so it is very disappointing that I need to return these and keep looking for a pair of boots. This year has been very difficult to find boots that fit well that are not tight in the middle of the boots so I am wondering if maybe the footwear is being made differently this year because I have no issues with footwear I currently have , some bought last winter. I have never had issues with footwear from Marks until this year as well.
