For my smaller waist and larger hips these pants with a partial elastic waistband are perfect. Cold water wash and hang to dry. No dryer even on low heat otherwise they will shrink. Great for winter, fall and early spring when it’s still a bit cool. I just ordered two more.

I wore these all day today and they're just so comfortable.
They are ankle pants -- I wish they were a bit longer. My daughter thinks
they're too short on me. I'm 5'7, but I think the shoes you wear with them
make a difference too.
