Comfortable, but strap issue

I bought these shoes in July, and didn't wear them right away. Once I started wearing them, parts of the straps started to come apart. I debated returning, but website said none in stock. They are very comfortable, so i had simply hoped to exchange them...i have glued straps and am hoping that it solves the problem. Buyer beware!
