Not quite what I wanted, but will do for now

I've been looking for a dark denim top/jacket with a generous arm hole to wear light sweaters under. Some of the cons make it look a little awkward. I will be wearing it open as a jacket. I will sew the patch pockets shut & drape a scarf down the shirt front to cover the pockets. --- It will do until I find something better.
PROS: Dense material; Dark colour, Moderate length; Nice shirt tail bottom; Slightly dropped shoulder gives a good size armpit for light sweaters; Strong snap fasteners. CONS: Material too dense to tuck any part of it into waist of pants; Yolk (front & back) is lower than expected (is approx. 2/3 down between shoulder & lower armpit); Patch pocket is too high & too large for its location (just under the lowered yolk) - The pocket size & style is better suited for a utility purpose closer to the bottom of the shirt.
