Fit huge around the waist

I have been on the hunt for work pants that fit forever and had high hopes for these but they fit about as well as the last pair of men's pants I bought (which I took in around 4" at the waist). I'm usually a size 2 or 4 so ordered the 2 and there is more than a fist worth of extra space in the waist. Small women need work pants too! It's frustrating that the smallest size doesn't even come close, and I am average height (5'4") with a strong build. It would also be nice if there was a short option, and I would prefer if they were higher rise. They fit nicely in the leg and the pockets are great, and if they fit my waist at all they would look good. But if men's work wear is too big for you this is not a better option.
No, I do not recommend this product.
