They are good shoes, very stylish and go with just about anything. They are comfortable and the sides are pretty sturdy which is good because I find flats usually don’t. Only downside is the sides are so sturdy a that they gave me a blister. But I think I just need to break them in

A: Hi, thanks for reaching out. Yes, this is the type of lace you would tie. Or some people tuck into their shoe and just slip in and out. But it isn't elasticized if that is the main question.
