Beautiful socks for a good cause

These hand knitted socks are very attractive and comfortable. However, it would help if the sizes online were given in shoe sizes not just as XS, S, M and L. I purchased two pairs, one for my daughter and the other matching one for my granddaughter. I chose size S for my 9-year old granddaughter but found they were way too big whereas the L size fit my daughter perfectly. Either shoe sizes or a clarification that this item is meant for adult feet would help in making the right choice.
