This jacket is lightweight, but very comfortable. I got one size larger than what my husband typically wears so he could wear a heavy sweater under the jacket (since we get a lot of rain in winter now 🙄) and he says it's perfect. Not too big without the sweater, but still comfy with a sweater. Keeps him dry. Sleeves are long, but the cuff is adjustable so he can tighten them up. He loves the way the hood is made ... good head coverage and no water dripping in his face.

Love, love, love this jacket. I normally wear a medium but purchased a large one so I can put bulkier sweaters/sweatshirts underneath and had ample space. I took it on my trip to Hampton Beach and it was perfect. You cannot go wrong with this jacket. It is true to size. Great jacket, well made. I would buy it again.

Q: the chest sizing chart makes no sense XS 35.5-37" M 38-40" " L 42-44" XL42-43" 2XL 46-48" 3XL 54-56" the XL is smaller than the L and the 3 XL starts 6 inches after teh 2 XL ends - what do you do if your chest is 49 - 53?????

A: Agreed. They don’t match up. Try the 2XL first. If you like that fit, then go with it. If it’s too snug bump up to a 3XL. If you get to a store, try one on.
