These are comfortable and super warm. Its currently -27 and feet don't notice the chill at all! I normally am a 7.5 so sized up to an 8. That made them a bit wide for my feet, but since they are winter boots used for walking my dogs, I'm ok with that.

Nice boots! They're very warm, cold rated at -40. The liner is thick and comfortable to wear. Easy to lace up and adjust the top to keep the snow out. Wearing them in snow and slush, very waterproof and warm. The grip is very good as well. The height is just right to walk through deep snow. I'm pleased with these boots!

A: Hello - These boots do not require a waterproof spray at the time of purchase. However, the more use if the boots may require a waterproof spray later in the products lifecycle if the upper is wetting out. So, short-term, no spray is needed, long-term, it may be beneficial to use some spray to re-apply the DWR. - Victoria
