Very hard to open after use

I bought this from Mark’s st cath a month ago abd i broke my hand and fingers trying to open it every day has to soak in hot water and tap tap tap and a lot of muscle power which i donot have
It heats well though

Can’t clean this product

I bought this and am thinking of throwing it away or returning it because I can’t seem to clean the top part of it properly and I’m afraid it will make me sick. I’ve tried to find info online on a way to clean it to no avail.
