The grippiest and most comfortable boots.

Iam disappointed by the poor reviews I’m reading. Perhaps mine from last year having a different standard of quality, because so far they have been water proof and held up.
The biggest praise I can give these are the comfort and Michelin bottom soles that offer insane grip in winter compared to any winter boot I’ve had. The only con I have is they’re a little ugly for anywhere beyond casual wear lol

Typical Hi-Tec quality construction.

I have purchased Hi-Tec foot ware for 30 years and they are consistently excellent. In spring of this year I purchased a pair of Altitude VII and have them worn a lot. How much you ask. I have a pedometer and it tells me that since then I have put 400 klms on them.
The fit is excellent and the construction quality is first rate as always. They are a little pricey but these days what isn’t. It has been my experience with Hi-Tec products that you get what you pay for.

These boots are absolutely junk. I’ve only worn them a handful of times and the ‘leather’ is cracking and letting water in.

Comfortable but not durable.

Very comfortable after worn them a few times and broken in. However, the seam from the lace line to the sole came apart after a short time rendering them useless as water proof or winter boot.

Thin leather

The leather is approx. 0.5 mm thick, I think a cardboard is underneath. No wonder it broke in a few days, and even the next layer (paper) can be seen at the site of fracture. If you want to squat, forget, uncomfortable and break.

Returned after 2 weeks

I only wore these boots a few times but the outer material cracked very badly anywhere the material had to flex. Also, these boots don’t breath at all (somewhat expected for waterproof boots) and as a result, weren’t comfortable to wear for long periods.
