Product Details

It's hard to improve on greatness, but KEEN wants you to know that these waterproof work boots do just that. They took the field-proven Abitibi, made it lighter with asymmetrical carbon-fibre toes, and added in the KonnectFit heel retention system. Additionally, they extended the Goodyear welt all the way around for extra stability. More capability, easier-wearing experience — this style brings it all.

Comfortable out of the box

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Comfortable out of the box and true to size. I have several Keen boots. Always good quality.

I I've been looking for a wider toe box safety toe boot and finally found one. Boots are comfortable right out of the box, I was worried the waterproofing would overheat my feet as other boots did but I have no problem. Very happy with these boots.

Good heavy duty booty

Got these for my fiance who struggles with nerve pain in his feet/legs. He broke them in around the yard and stuff for a few days first which is always smart. He was worried they would be clompy and big but was surprised at how comfortable and light they actually feel. He would've never tried them if they weren't a gift and he's really glad he did.

Work boots

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Boots are awesome. The only issue is within the second month of wearing them, the boots soles started kind of crumbling and breaking off. But they warrantied it and sent me a new pair. Hopefully these soles don't do that.

The best boot yet!

I got this product, because all the other boot brands I've used are at such a disadvantage to the Keen company. These are the most comfortable fitting boots.

Pleased once again!

TLDR: Great boots that hold up to the quality I have come to expect from KEEN I have always had a great experience with KEEN footwear. My previous pair of boots lasted 8 years of brutal treatment and the need for replacement came from me wearing through the rubber sole completely. The Abitibi II have so far matched the quality I have come to expect. Many negative reviews reference discomfort from the system meant to lock your foot into the heel with the cords that run around the back and sides of the boot. I personally haven’t had any discomfort from it and I generally lace my boots up very tight from the ankle up. I would also point out that there is an eyelet under the cord loop so that if you do find it uncomfortable you can take the lace out of the loop and lace it up like a normal boot. The traditional sole is robust and has the same durable feel that my previous boots had so if history is any indication the sole will last for a long time. Finally although the leather is a bit on the stiff side at first it breaks in relatively quick especially if you, like me, treat you boots. Boot grease broke the leather in good and soft immediately. Only thing I would change, and it is a personal preference, would be 3 speed laces at the top rather than 2. I think it’s easier to slip the boots on and off with three is all, so it is a very minor thing.
