Where do I start? The boots are remarkably light weight for the size (14) but they feel very sturdy and supportive. Yes they actually do come with an extra pair of laces. I am very glad that I took the time to read many of the reviews that were posted for these and other boots that I was considering. Several reviews said to be aware that the Kodiak brand boots tend to fit a bit small but ordering one size larger gave a satisfactory fit. I am size thirteen regular width for most footwear but because the boots I was shopping for were intended for winter wear I decided to go with a wide model of boot and because of the reviews I read I also went with the size 14 so that I could wear heavier socks. The fit is loose with shoe socks but once I put on another heavier pair there is room all around my foot to fit properly and not be tight and cold. The sad part of the story is that there doesn't appear to be any waterproofing preparation to the leather as loose snow sitting on the boots in the tractor cab started melting and the leather immediately stained wet from the moisture soaking in to the surface. Some silicone spray should fix that problem quickly. On hard-pack snow there is poor lateral traction unless your foot is put down squarely on the ground. When changing directions the boots will slip out sideways if you put your foot down slightly on edge; otherwise the boots are comfortable and easy to walk in. All in all I think I got a good buy and value for the money spent.

Disappointed in soles craftsmen ship

The north holds up on the exterior but the Soles in and tear heal get destroyed in 6 months I’ve been starting to get extremely sore feet took the Insoles out looks a thin as paper in 6 months ( this is my second boot )
