From Kodiak, the women's Journey hiker-style work boots are made of waterproof leather, protected with molded TPU heel guards and rubber toe guards. Fitted with composite toes and plates, they are electric shock resistant as well as puncture resistant. Designed for winter outdoor work, the boots have lightweight Thinsulate™ insulation. EVA midsoles add support and Kodiak® Ultimate rubber outsoles are slip and oil resistant. CSA-compliant safety features include composite toes and plates, electric shock resistance and puncture resistance.

I looove theses boots , I just got them for my gardening DEP, and it's very comfortable. I am still waiting to see if they are waterproof but aren't rubber boots so how high should one expectation be?

I love these boots. This probably my 6th pair. I have plantar fasciitis and also a very high arch. These boots combined with good Insoles make wearing workboots 10-12hrs/day tolerable. They are leather so not sure why they're advertised as waterproof. The composite toe and shank are so much more comfortable than steel. I wish there was an non-insulated version for summer wear.
