Perfect fit right out of the box. Sole is firm but flexible. I will never by any other boot as I have problem feet and these are my go to boots.

Just retired my pair i bought in 2008.

Originally purchased in 2008 for occasional framing work then have used them everyday for the past 2.5 years as a FT industrial electrician and they are solid, light and breathe well. I am going to buy another pair a half size bigger to allow room for thicker socks and better insole.

I went through 3 or 4 pairs of these bad boys. I thought the design was cool like a basketball shoe almost. Didn't love the last pair I got. They hurt the bottom of my feet at first and then fell apart after a year or so. Gonna try some slip ons

Good boots for work

Had these now for upwards of 3 months and so far so good. I had an issue with the fit of the first pair I got, they had some material on them leftover that kept stabbing into my foot as I walked. I Later exchanged them for a new pair which I have no problems with at all. They are comfortable to work in all day and are a well built and designed boot. Not too sure about other Terra products but surprisingly these boots are made in Canada. The boots stand up to everything I can throw at them. The leather on them are in fact water resistant and do withstand chemicals really well and they aren't very heavy at all. No metal benefits! These are probably not a work boot for someone who spends most of their day outside in really cold or snowy weather, but they are good for someone who is indoors/outdoors at times or is in an area with a milder climate. Get them when they are on sale and you can't go wrong with these boots.
