I love these socks, but I wish they lasted longer for the price. I was able to pick up several pairs when a local store closed down. They started out so soft and thick, but each one of them lasted less than six months. Every single one of them became thin and threadbare under the balls of my feet - and I only wore them indoors as an alternative to slippers. For the price you would expect them to last longer than a pair of cheap cotton socks.

One Problem with Otherwise Great Socks

The one problem with these otherwise warm socks is that the opening is Far Too Tight: at 2 1/2" in diameter, it cuts into my calves and leaves marks after a few minutes of wearing. I'm a small woman with slender legs and weigh in at 115 lbs. Having to cut the tops off and crochet a more relaistic edging was not what I had in mind when I ordered them.

Very soft, when I was sick I was burning hot but freezing cold, I put these socks on and went to bed. They washed well and I would recommend.
