[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first time trying the Nite lze smart phone bar mount and I was pretty impressed with it. This is very easy to install. The best part was the squeeze method. I like the fact that you just squeeze and you can snap on your phone so easily. The mount seems very sturdy. This one is good and works amazingly well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall this is well made and I know that Nite Ize makes quality products! I used this to mount my phone to our wagon handle. It held the phone fairly securely but the mount itself had a bit of wobble. This might be user error on my part but I think it’s worth at least noting. I do wish that the phone clamp had a stronger spring in it because it felt like my phone could fall out but maybe that’s just me being paranoid! I think that for road biking or mounting your phone to a stroller it’s perfect!

I have all 3 of the bar mounts and this one is my favorite. I like that it rotates as I usually like my phone in the portrait position. Much easier and faster than the other 2 to take the phone off and on when taking pictures, etc. Use it on my mountain bike and dirt bike. Holds the phone security even on the roughest terrain.

Great, but could be so much better

I bought this device for its ease of operation being that I have Parkinson's. I can quickly and easily attach my phone or release my phone from the holder. That feature I very much enjoy, along with the ability to rotate the phone easily from portrait to landscape mode. One thing I have been disappointed with, though, is that the grip that holds the device to the handlebar on my bicycle does not seem to hold enough even on the smoothest of roads. It twists on the handlebars and gets out of place quickly. I also question the rubber strap and mounting mechanism. It relies on that rubber strap and one small tang to secure the phone to your bicycle. My phone has not fallen off yet, but it is a source of concern. Today's phones are very expensive, and I can just see the device coming unattached in a sea of riders participating in a bicycle event and my phone getting crushed beyond repair. if Nite ize sovles this problem, they will have a truly wonderful product.

I posted an erroneous 2 star review before bc I did not understand how the strap looped through the mount and so it fell off. I apologize. I know now how to do it and it is a great mount!

If you tried using the Squeeze bar mount as a dash mount it would not work since it is meant for the bike and vice versa if you try to use the squeeze dash mount as a bike mount it would not work.
