It actually makes you wish it would rain HARDER. LOL.
Perhaps I should wear it in the shower?
But seriously...for cold, wet days working in the forest it can't be beat. No dripping down your back, or in your eyes, no matter the weather.
As mentioned by others, the design has been around a while...with good reason.

There is a reason this style of hat has been around forever - it works. Very durable, takes a lot of abuse and well worth the money. If you are out in the rain or snow this is what you need.

Great rain hat.

Best rain hat.
I've used this hat for years while working on the coast of BC where the rain can be cold and torrential. When I've got this hat on I feel isolated from the storms. It's fleece lined so its quite warm and comfy.
WAY better than a rain jacket hood. I never use the hood anymore. With this hat I can turn my head freely without restriction of a hood, and I don't have to listen to the crinkly sound of a high tech rain jacket hood.
There's a reason why all the old school forestry guys wear these things.
