Great boots for cold, slush & ice.

Great boots overall, they're very warm and have kept my feet dry for hours at a time despite trekking through lots of snow and slush. The ice grip texture on the bottom is also very effective. I can feel the difference in how these boots give better footing on slick ice patches versus flat/non grip soles, so I walk more confidently on ice and at a faster pace than in my old ones. Rounding up a half size meant they have room for my orthotics, but the boots are comfortable even without anything custom added.

Boots are great! Delivery time sucked. Almost cancelled order because delivery date was not met. (Purolator decided to hold orders.. not Mark's issue) then when I tried to cancell they told me I should reorder as they were now on sale again. I could not reorder as the site said they were sold out. I never got the sale price.

Was a Christmas gift for my spouse - amongst reading the reviews to size up, I did. He is a usual size 12 for runners, etc and wen't with size 13 boots. Fit perfectly and he advises he loves them and they are warm and comfortable. The built in ice "cleats" underneath works really well.

My go-to winter boot for walking and driving, when I don't need a full height winter boot for deep snow. They are comfy for walking in winter and have exceptional traction on ice. I took a bad fall on ice around 10 years and broke a wing. After that, I became a believer in the Marks Ice-FX sole.

A: I would not step in any deep puddles with them nor would I wear them in warm weather, however they do not leak in wet snow or any normal cold weather winter conditions.
