Got what I paid for - cheap hiking pants
a year ago
They’re ok. They fit properly in store before I purchased but they sagged and the waist slipped down off my waist a lot on my first hike. I might wear them again but I got exactly what I paid for. They were inexpensive and they wore like an inexpensive of hiking pants.
No, I do not recommend this product.

I ordered 2 pairs. One for my husband and the other for me. I shortened mine. Both were the perfect travelling pants. Deep pockets and a zipper too. They shed rain fairly well and dried quickly. Were very comfortable to sit around in.

Light, breathable, and great hiking/walking pants.

Very light, but also strong fabric (not thick), perfect for walking or hiking. The inner belt is good to keep it tight at the waist without worrying about belt loops (and bunching under a belt).

Excellent pants - except for the belt.

I love these pants except for one important element - the belt fastener. The buckle and the belt are too thin to do the job. After a couple washings the buckle will loosen any time you bend over or crouch down. Fortunately if you tighten the belt then attach a bag clip over the webbing right behind the buckle , things stay in place. If Marks would give you a supply of bag clips (and maybe a bag of chips) with each purchase then I would give these pants 5 stars.

Almost awesome pants, except...

Excellent materials and construction. Very comfortable. Would get a 5 star rating except for one thing. The integrated belt system is no good. The clasp/buckle does not grasp the belt tight enough and constantly loosens. Belt material is too slippery. Since it's an integrated system with no loops, I can't easily replace the belt. Since I really like the rest of the pants, I'm using suspenders with them for now. I will probably look to somehow replace the buckle. I ordered two pairs and both do the same thing.
