Excellent Value Hiking Boots

Had this pair of boots for over 2 years now - and in Canada (Mark's Work Wear House) I can find no better quality and style of boot for the same money. They breathe well, are very sturdy and are very comfortable. Haven't yet reached the (usually very expensive) resoleability question that leaves much more expensive boots redundant when their glued soles eventually detach and because Vibram no longer makes that specific replacement sole tread. Highly recommended boots.

Wide and waterproof

These shoes are truly wide, waterproof and suprisingly lightweight. The biggest surprise is the Tarantula outsole which I have never heard about before - I always thought if it's not Vibram or Salomon's Contagrip the grip would be so so at best. These shoes proved me wrong - I hiked in the Rockies on all kinds of terrain, and the grip was plain awesome.
