Nice boots but difficult to get on and off

Warm, comfortable, nice looking, ok in snow and ice but tight in the ankles and difficult to get on and off. Impossible without a long shoehorn. I’m hoping they stretch as time goes on. They fit a bit small, glad I ordered a size up.

Winter 2026 has been a snowmagedden and I love to walk in the winter and am DONE bending over and tying boots Lol.
These slip on boots are fantastic and grip well in all this ice and snow. I went up a full size as suggested in previous comments. I have narrow feet so I’m not sure I needed a full size up but they fit totally fine.
They are very WARM and very COMFORTABLE. I walk anywhere from 30-60 minutes a day.
Highly recommend, would buy again.

great boot. I can slide into them with a shoe horn but I have to take them off siting down. I am a senior and maybe if I was younger I could take them off easier

- A: Hello - In time everything does wear down and because pavement is quite abrasive you will see some where over time. The good news is these boot have both our Green Diamond Grip as well as our Icelandic Grip. As the Green Diamond Grip wears down more of the Green Diamond pieces are exposed due to them being embedded throughout the rubber. You would notice more wear on the Icelandic grip over time. Q: I bought a pair of these boots but after wearing them a half dozen times the metal chips onion the sole have disappeared. Is this normal?

- A: Hello, Yes this is normal. As the sole wears the chips fall out but also new chips are exposed as they are mixed all throughout the rubber compound.
