The result is a lightweight, comfortable and supportive feel underfoot. I needed a walking shoe that wouldn't irritate the arthritis in my big toe joint (hallux rigidus) and pain in the ball of my foot. This brand was suggested on various foot specialist sites and so far these are working out for me. There is a good amount of cushioning in the sole for comfort, and room for the toes as well as the heel fits snugly for support. The traction is good for hiking on a trail and they are light and breath pretty well. They are not as expensive as other brands and look good too.
