The Asics TRAIL SCOUT™ 3 running shoes offer support and traction during your off-road runs. They provide good underfoot comfort, including updated tooling of the shoe's midsole construction. The result is a lightweight, comfortable and supportive feel underfoot. For durability, these shoes are reinforced with stitched-down overlays and molded rubber outsoles to lengthen the shoe's overall lifespan.

I needed a walking shoe that wouldn't irritate the arthritis in my big toe joint (hallux rigidus) and pain in the ball of my foot. This brand was suggested on various foot specialist sites and so far these are working out for me. There is a good amount of cushioning in the sole for comfort, and room for the toes as well as the heel fits snugly for support. The traction is good for hiking on a trail and they are light and breath pretty well. They are not as expensive as other brands and look good too.

Loved the fit and support...so comfortable, went to tighten the laces on the afternoon of the first wear and one of the loops broke off. I was not happy. :(Harumph
