This is true to size, comfortable fit and recently had to where outside in heavy mist weather. And I stayed dry and warm instead of the damp cold feeling typical of other off brand cheap sweatshirts. Have not yet had the opportunity to where it in heavy rain environment but, feel it would stand up to the test of that quite well.
