Excellent raincoat for hiking

Excellent raincoat - I used it during a hiking adventure at Wyalusing State Park where it has been raining all day and it kept me dry throughout the trip. I really like how packable it is as it does not take up much space at all in my daypack

I have wanted this for a long time. Purchased it for my birthday. Was slightly concerned about it being lightweight. But I was wrong. Very well made. Quality materials. I am very happy with the purchase. The hood is adjustable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect rain jacket. Last one you'll ever need to buy. Bought it for my husband's birthday. He purchased one just like it in Alexander's (an outdoors shop in Blairsville GA). Loved it so much we ordered this online to bring to our other home. We live in the southern Appalachia mountains, which we just learned is the second rainiest part of the US behind Seattle. This jacket works so hard and keeps him dry, without getting sweaty. The hood covers your head without blocking your vision. And the relaxed fit makes it easy to layer. He usually wears a medium; this medium is a great fit.
I couldn't find a ladies in Alexander's. So I ordered the women's Storm Defender in loose fit. Equally wonderful jacket. Fits true to size. Both jackets are very well made. Last time I came in from a drenching rain, water was beaded up on the outside, and I was completely dry under the jacket.
