Omnitech quality but details need more...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Needed a shell bib for Spring skiing and caught this on sale. Fit is spot on for me (size M: 40" chest/33" waist, 172#) but the straps are a tad long. Even in the website pic, the strap buckles reach the top of the shoulder trap muscles. Wish it had: inner thigh zip vents, single detachable shoulder strap (makes it easier to put on the bib), zipper or (at a minimum) button adjustable cuffs (the elastic drawstring looks sloppy on such a wide cuff IMO), ankle scuff guards, stockier zipper pull cords (better for use with gloves/mitts).

Not warm or winter at all

Absolute joke for real winter or winter activities. Gimmicky shiny material does nothing for warmth. If your only winter activity is snowblowing the driveway maybe it’s ok. Even then my single layer carhart bib is warmer than this.

No, I do not recommend this product.

I unfortunately had to return these. The fit slim. I’d say I’m a ‘Regular’ body type, and thought the bib style would offer more room. The waist and bib were too tight and didn’t allow movement. Felt the Large would be too long for my height.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am heading to Antarctica in November on a cruise. I needed something warm and functional. This seemed to be JUST the ticket! The fit is great, and I love the extra pockets. I will be taking LOTS of photos, and I love the big pocket on the bib (chest area). They seem like they will be super warm.

This bib doesn't have any insulation and relies solely on Omni-Reflective technology for warmth. It's definitely not suitable for snow sports or colder seasons.

    Questions

    1 - 1 of 1 Question

Q: What would the temp rating on these pants be?

    2 Answers
    • A: Thank you for your question. Columbia doesn't typically provide a specific temperature rating for their products as individual comfort can vary too much. The Columbia Men's IceAdventure II Omni-Heat™ Thermal Reflective and Omni-Tech™ Waterproof Breathable Bib Shell Pants are designed to offer excellent warmth and protection in cold conditions. The combination of Omni-Heat™ thermal reflective lining and Omni-Tech™ waterproof breathable fabric ensures you stay warm and dry. We like to think of our pants as falling into the Warm - Warmer - Warmest categories and would consider this style to be "Warmer." Hope that helps!
