The polyester rip-stop fabric on this Dakota WorkPro Series work jacket provides superior tear resistance and remains flexible in cold and wet conditions. The jacket has a moisture-wicking mesh body lining as well as front, back and underarm venting for extra breathability. Extra weather protection is provided by the drop-back hem and neoprene storm cuffs that seal out moisture. Finished with outer pockets equipped with waterproof zippers, this jacket will protect both you and your belongings during the next storm.

The cuffs have adjustable neoprene so you can limit/prevent water from dribbling down the sleeves. Awesome fleece lined neck, keeps drafts out, no need for extra scarves or neck warmers. Definitely water/wind proof, you'll def need a stanfield underneath but other than that, this jacket has everything I could want in a work jacket. Even has underarm zips, two way front zipper, and the pocket zips are waterproof as well. Nice job Dakota.

Poor quality build

I've bought two of these jackets in the past. Both lasted less than a couple months before stitching started to pull apart. The hi vis stripes are the first to come apart and then it's the cuff inside the sleeve. Should have learned the first time to look for something better.

Reflect on Purpose

The markings on this jacket are certainly highly visible. The jacket itself is not that warm, so you would need another couple of layers if you were working outside all day. The jacket is as pictured in the photos. It has at least 4 zippered pockets. There is a clear pouch for an id card or small cellphone (flip phone). There is a vent under each arm, which exposes mesh when unzipped. I would recommend the jacket in terms of visibility, but not for warmth. Note - since this jacket was delivered to me in error, I can't comment on the fit/size, although the large looks true to a large size.

Not even close to waterproof

I bought this jacket earlier this year but hadn't had a chance to truly test it out until yesterday and to my immense frustration, this thing is nowhere close to waterproof. I was completely soaked through after about 4 hours. The rain went through every layer I had down to the skin, and also completely through the jacket pockets (on the inside and the outside) as well. I don't understand how they could possibly in good conscience sell this as a waterproof jacket to people they know are doing work outside all day. I'm outside the return window so unfortunately I have no choice but to keep it, although I'm strongly considering just throwing the darn thing in the garbage anyways. Don't waste your money on this jacket like I did.

Not waterproof

Complete waste of money... 1.5hrs into my 10.5 hr shift, my long sleeve shirt underneath was water-logged...better off going to the store and picking up a 6 dollar box of garbage bags and wearing those instead!!
