fit for active wear

Fit is good for large, comparable to my other Dakota shirt, but would prefer if it's a little longer--and I'm only 5'4", this tends to untuck from my waistband when I bend over or squat. Fabric is smooth. Haven't really tested the tick repellency yet. Would prefer if it came in tan or Grey or khaki, you can't wear blue when turkey hunting.

The fabric is oppressively heavy and, with two layers, impossible to wear in the heat. The elastic cuffs are a good idea in theory but way too loose to do their job, and the lack of a collar leaves the neck area vulnerable. The fit is OK, although the shoulders seem designed for a linebacker. Blue attracts deerflies, so not a great colour.

Q: Does the fabric repel the area AROUND it also, (ie, exposed hands and neck) or the repellent is applicable to the fabric only? Thanks!

A: Hi! Thanks for your question! Our apparel is designed to repel ticks and mosquitoes when they come into contact with the treated fabric. Everyone has a unique relationship with mosquitoes based on the carbon dioxide their body emits. While mosquitoes and ticks may be deterred from landing on the treated fabric and could fly away or fall off, the permethrin treatment is specifically intended to incapacitate them if they do land on it, helping to prevent bites.
