Very comfortable boot cut Jean. Goes over my hiker style winter boots and is not tight at ankle. Material is stretchy and a bit thinner than normal denim so I wouldn't recommend these as a work pant but they are my daily go to the office / out anywhere jeans. Since I'm in my late 40's I like the way they fit and don't look like those skin tight jeans the young skinny kids wear.
