Bought these for a very elderly gentleman after trying a couple of other winter boot options. These boots worked for him because the zippers made it easier for him to put them on and off. The leather was somewhat pliable and so a little more comfortable when breaking in. The height of the boot was not too tall to make them cumbersome. Overall, out of the different boots he tried, these were the most comfortable. I bought these mainly because of the soles being good for traction on ice but our weather has been so mild that he hasn’t been able to test them out yet.

Had issues with the boots, first delivery the boots where two different sizes. Can say that customer service was great and they helped out right away. Second delivery was correct. Boots are great. My elderly parent, has a little trouble putting them on, even as they have two workable zippers, one on each side, but hoping the leather will soften up with time and use. He still loves them and feel comfortable wearing them.

No Slipping on Ice

Bought these for my dad for Christmas. His mobility and balance isn’t what it used to be. These boots have little shards on the bottom that bite into the ice. They also use zippers instead of laces so he doesn’t have to worry about them coming undone.
