After a week waiting for my new coat to cross Canada from BC, I received my new coat in time to show my appreciation of this gift from my sister. The fit and comfort is welcomed in the winter weather we have been experiencing lately. I look forward to wearing it as winter continues.

Q: How much polyester fill lining is there? Is the jacket bulky? Is the outer shell waterproof? water resistant? neither?

A: Thank you for your question. This style is not bulky at all and includes lightweight insulation with sherpa lining only in body and hood and 80 grams of polyester insulation for the sleeves. This style is not waterproof or water resistant as does not include a DWR (durable water repellent) finish on the shell fabric. Hope that helps!
