Horribly uncomfortable

Got these because they seemed light weight and hopefully not so hot. Unfortunately these were the most horribly uncomfortable boots once I started walking around in them. No padding around the top at all and its like plastic rubbing above your ankle the whole time wearing away your skin.

Where the stretchy webbing connects the tongue to the boot, it isn't flush with the boot and digs into your ankles. Virtually unwearable unless you are wearing the boots very loose. Returned my first pair and got another pair thinking it was a manufacturer defect but new ones have the exact same isssue

The boots have bulky seams where the tongue meets the boot near the ankle. Hoping when they get broken in more it'll be less of a problem. Other than that, they are a pretty solid light weight boot. Didn't come with spare laces like previous Ultralight Work Boots, which was a little sad.
