5 Years of Forestry Field Work

I've had this shirt for 5 years now and wear it as my base layer while doing field work in NW Wisconsin. Stitching is solid. The shirt doesn't stink. It wicks away sweat well and performs great in my work where I alternate from exertion (hiking to monitoring plots) to low levels of activity.

Fantastic Wool Baselayer

These are fantastic baselayers and they regulate temperature extremely well. The fit is also nice for wearing as a main shirt and doesn't look like a baselayer. I would highly recommend these shirts. I usually wear them on days that range from 20 degrees F to 40 degrees F and they keep me plenty warm with just a midlayer on top. I purchased 2 of them because I liked them so much and also bought their leggings.

Awesome layer. I wear it skiing on colder (below 20F) days. It’s holding up great after 20ish wears this season. Make sure you air dry only as with all wool.

Good warmth

I have used this as a baselayer going out ice fishing and hunting in 15-30 degrees, and it seems to do a good job of keeping warmth. It is comfortable to wear and does not feel itchy like I have heardother Wool products can. It is a little short in the torso, but otherwise fits well. I am 6' 1", 190 lbs.

I was able to use this (plus the matching bottoms) under my jacket and snow pants and didn't need much else unless it got pretty cold.

Great performance base layer

I really like this shirt as a base layer! It's the tiniest bit scratchy, but the material is perfect for what you need on the mountain and what's to be expected of performance wool. It breathes well, and keeps me warm without being "hot." Highly recommend for anyone doing a high exertion winter sport.
