While no tie-up shoes will keep your feet "cool" after a long day, these are the closest that I have encountered. I have also found them comfortable in "fit", to wear during a 12-hour day.

Great pair of shoes. Good grip and stable footing. Decent resistance to fluid ingress with the closed toe. My #1 foot wear year round.

Best work shoes ever!

Have been wearing these Merrell Bryce hiking shoes for years now for work (am a baker). Had given up on finding my size and was delighted to find this small size stocked again. Comfortable from the moment I put them on, hard wearing & durable. Nice wide toe box. Sturdy but flexible. Can’t say enough good things about these shoes.

The only shoe i really wear

Great shoe, good cleat style tread. I have been wearing this shoe model for probably 10 years. I wear it for everything. It is closed toe so good for work, and because it it has a solid leather top it is relatively water resistant alowing it to work for winter conditions. The down side to that is that it is not as breathable as some, but that does not bother me. The tread life is not amazing due to the cleat style, but it has good traction on all surfaces including ice. I usually start with a new pair every fall and wear them every day, by the next fall the tread is fairly flat and I start with a new pair.
