The Nite Ize Squeeze Universal Vent Mount makes it easy to dock your phone securely in your vehicle. The ball-and-socket mount holds virtually any phone with a case and accessories. It uses a squeeze clamp with grippy arms and inner continuous force springs that amplify the hold on your phone, however rough the ride.

Great idea but falls a tad short (narrow)

I was really looking forward to this new development on an age old issue. The vent mount is the perfect place for a phone but vents move. Side to side is ok, but up and down is a problem. The vent attachment works great and is the best option I’ve come across. It locks in very well and is sturdy. I was able to mount it on the very bottom vent blade so I was able to address the up and down issue. The problem I ran into was that it was very difficult and almost impossible to easily get my iPhone in place. I have a basic Otter box case and needed it to expand another 1/2”. Luckily my existing mount had the same ball joint so I was able to keep the phone holder. Great idea but fell a little short. Open it up just a bit and I think you have a real winner. Field testing with a mixture of phones and cases would have help address the potential problem. Keep up the new ideas and problem solving solutions. Niteize is great when it comes to innovation for everyday life.

Over priced and terrible

Bought this due to brand and seems sturdy. Works great but way to often ha e to adjust the tension on vent. Now ping wire just broke
