Have now used gloves to move big rocks and have a few comments: The small-sized gloves are too big for a woman, which means they aren't as useful. Also, they do not grip as well as I'd hoped. So rocks slide out, which was not what I expected. BUT they are very very sturdy. No rips or tears.
