Kept me dry during a rainstorm, but is NOT breathable. Unless "breathable" pertains to the under arm zips and not the fabric itself. Once the rain stopped I was sweating like a Hindu at a steakhouse. Could use an outside breast zipped pocket and additional closures along the front zip storm flap. The color is nice though.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Great jacket. However I purchased it online with in store pickup. What was delivered was a pair of pants!!! No jacket. Fortunately the store still had one in my size on the rack. I'm just glad I opened the package before leaving.
Kudos to the store staff who handled the situation extremely well.
