They are average fabric thickness, I am happy with the quality. I am 5'7" and they are a bit long on me (1.5 in too long), would be a better fit for someone maybe around 5'10" . The Windriver brand cotton pants that come in a 2 pack (different from this item) are made in a different country/factory and are longer and suitable for taller people
