Tricky fit

The sole is so rigid it doesn’t flex much when you walk. As a result my heel would slide up and down in the shoe while walking. That would become bothersome quickly I think, and maybe lead to blisters. I returned them. Bummer can’t use ctc $$ online. Needs fix!

Great Traction but Uncomfortable Fit

I’ve been wearing these shoes for a while now, and I have mixed feelings. On the positive side, they have excellent grip—I haven't slipped or fallen on ice, which is impressive. The traction gives me confidence walking on slick surfaces, even in winter conditions. However, the fit is not the most comfortable. The top of my foot hurts after wearing them for a while, which makes them hard to wear for long periods. It feels like there isn’t enough flexibility or padding in the upper part of the shoe. If you're looking for something with solid grip and stability, these are great. But if you need all-day comfort, especially across the top of your foot, they might not be the best choice.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Very rigid - also not good for high snow levels.

This shoe is very rigid and hard to put on. We would have opted for a larger size had we known this. Unfortunately we were not able to do a free exchange online and would have lost the sale price if we opted to return it and repurchase. Marks should really provide free online exchanges so as to avoid things like this.

No, I do not recommend this product.

I'm happy with the shoes. The soles have a good grip on ice and snow and the shoe is well made.

        Q: Are they nonslip?

        1 Answer
        • A: Thank you for your question! Yes, these shoes are equipped with our ICEFX outsoles. ICEFX has an innovative tread design to provide greater surface contact in the heel strike zone and forefoot to achieve an anti-slip outsole. This style has both Icelandic grip and Green Diamond, Please be aware though that due to the Green Diamond compound in the outsole there is a chance you may damage your flooring if the shoes are worn inside.

Q: How about in slushy snow? Does it get wet? I know it is leather. How do you protect this from getting wet?

        1 Answer
        • A: By my experience, leather is naturally waterproof. The shoe will be wet. Whether it leaks, depend on how it is made. Since it is melted snow, you walk you splash. Because it is low cut, your socks will get wet. The solution is to buy a boot style cut. The slushier your condition, the deeper the snow, the higher the boot should be. Hope this helps.
