My father always bought Clark shoes at least as far back as the 1960s. It took me until 2010 to buy my first pair because back then they were a magnitude of money more expensive than other brands of "sensible" shoes that actually last and appear well for every day wear. Also I share with my father the need for wide shoes.
Since then, for proper street shoes I will hold out for a sale on Clark products. I'm so glad that Mark's carries them and has sales for them. From now on I pretty much trust their shoes to fit without trying them on at the store if I'm tight for time.
These fit straight out of the box and I needed them for a 17 hour day of travel and standing. Nary a fault with the comfort the entire time. I still have that pair from 2010 for kicking around use but these Bradley shoes are for "occasions."

My husband is always on the go so he definitely requires well fitting shoes. They were so comfortable from the beginning of use that he did not have to replace the insoles after his first use. He prefers to wear them over his slippers at home.
