I buy these because they don't have that annoying elastic waistband most underwear has. It's stretchy but covered with cloth, thin .. and doesn't dig into your waist. I'm usually medium in most clothes but needed these in large to be comfortable. If you're a big guy these might be too tight and small for you .. even the large size.
