Alverstone 2 waterproof

Very comfortable shoe. It has great traction and truly is waterproof. Most waterproof footwear is hot but these breathe nicely. The first time I put them on the bed felt hard but they broke in quickly. I’m a big guy, 5’9” 270lbs, and my feet haven’t hurt once wearing them. Highly recommend!

Comfortable waterproof shoe for wide feet.

I bought these to replace high end Gortex hikers that repeatably split and leaked. I have very wide feet and these Merrills fit very comfortably right out of the box. Used mostly for dog walking and have had for about 2 weeks with many walks in the rain on grassy fields. So far my feet have remained dry. Even if they only last six months still beat the competition for about 1/3 the cost on sale.

These are very comfortable but run just a little big. The extra width offers plenty of room. They are breathable but may still be warm for summertime use. Overall though, very comfortable.

WATERPROOF!

These are the first waterproof shoes that actually keep my feet dry. I walk the fields early every morning when the dew is heavy. These shoes are rugged, comfortable, and have a great grip. Did I mention that they are WATERPROOF!
