These shoes were an excellent fit right from the very beginning! It's not surprising, as I've purchased their boots as well, and had the same experience. As well as being very comfortable and easy to wear, they're easy to put on. I purchased them about a week before we left for Ireland, and wore them extensively there with no concerns at all! Highly recommended!

A: Hello - These are not recommended for icy conditions. They do not have anti-slip on ice properties as other styles in the winter assortment. These are a casual walking shoe, but more for everyday non-winter, icy conditions. Thanks - Victoria
