Best hiking shoe on the market! This is the one hiking shoe I will buy year after year. The fit with width for my orthotic is 100% perfect. The quality from WindRiver is excellent! When they are out of stock for my shoe size of 14 I wait until it is back in stock before considering to buy another hiking shoe. Been buying this product for over 4 years now and please don't discontinue it ever!!! Big fan of all WindRiver products and always great quality!

Q: Are these shoes good for winter walking?

A: Thank you for reaching out. It really depends on the winter conditions you'll be walking in. This specific style has our Tarantula anti-slip outsole which reduces the likelihood that you’ll slip or fall on wet and/or greasy surfaces. I would suggest looking into our ICEFX program for winter walking as those outsoles are specifically designed to keep you safer on snowy/icy surfaces.
